Methods

Experimental lab work:

We use the Geminoid to study aspects of Human Robot Interaction. The main lines of research are conducted as experiments in the AAU Geminoid Lab. Teh Lab is especially designed to study interactions with the android.

Typical studies target a spefific kind of human behavior, and we extract a model from that behavior and adapt it to a situation including one or a few humans, and the humanoid robot. Interactions in the Lab are videotaped for analysis

Another important aspect of our research is study what happens when the robot is placed in more natural surroundings.
