- Geminoid-DK is a teleoperated android
- The robot does not possess any intelligence of its own
- Movement is restricted to the head and upper torso of the robot
- Movement is executed by means of pneumatic actuators inside the robot
- The robot is controlled by pre-programmed sequences of movements and by a system that relays movement of the operator to the robot
- Speech of the operator is transmitted to a speaker behind the robot
Manufacturing and Design
- Geminoid-DK is build and designed by Kokoro Inc., Tokyo.
The design process was supervised by Henrik Scharfe
- The geminoid concept was originally proposed by Hiroshi Ishiguro

- The cost of the robot + lab equipment adds up to roughly 1 000 000 DKK
